Pinterest pin maker

A pin competes in a column of other pins, at about a third of the size you are designing it. Two things decide whether it gets clicked: how tall it stands in the feed, and whether the text on it survives being shrunk to thumbnail size. Everything else is decoration.

What size should a Pinterest pin be?
1000 x 1500 pixels, a 2:3 ratio. Taller pins can be cut off in the feed, and square ones lose height to the pins beside them.
Should the text be on the image?
Yes. The image is what people judge while scrolling, so the headline belongs on the pin. Keep it short enough to read at thumbnail size.
Can I make several sizes of the same pin?
Yes - Multi export re-lays out one design into several shapes at once. Every size previews free; exporting the whole set in one run is Pro.
